Coaching Manitoba is an imortant organization to the Manitoba Paddling Association providing funds for the MPA to develop coaches from grassroots to high performance, making sure our athletes are getting the best coaching possible.
Canoe Kayak Canada is the National Sport Governing body for the sport of canoe and kayak, and is the Manitoba Paddling Associations parent organization.

CHEMO SAVVY
Chemo Savvy is a Winnipeg based Dragon Boat Team whos primary objective is to raise awareness for Breast Cancer. Made up of over 80 Breast Cancer Survivors, Chemo Savvy paddles their hearts out, because they love Dragon Boat Racing and for an extremely worthwhile cause.
MTS DRAGONS
The MTS Dragons (formerly known as MTS Dragon Power) have been dominating MPA festivals for 3 years. Participating in the MPA Dragon Boat Membership, and helping to develop our dragon boat programs, the MTS Dragons are first class all the way.
Waves of Hope is a Brandon, Manitoba based Dragon Boat Team whos primary objective is to raise awareness for Breast Cancer. Waves of Hope are breast cancer survivors and shore team supporters from Brandon and surrounding region in western Manitoba. We come together in celebration of life and in the pursuit of better health through fitness, sport, social events and outreach activities. Waves of Hope meets regularly throughout the year for training, friendship and sharing of information
