The Manitoba Paddling Association is the provincially recognized governing body for Canoe and Kayak. With four provincial clubs in Minnedosa, Morden, Selkirk and Winnipeg, the MPA offers the people of Manitoba a wide variety of services, programs and events, ranging from boat rentals to beginners programs, to a high performance provincial team program. The association provides programs to people of all ages and abilities and does so with the use of state of the art equipment and facilities and certified canoe and kayak instruction and coaching.

Thousands of paddlers annually go through Manitoba Paddling Association programs and events. In recent years canoe and kayak athletes are starting to make the jump to be selected for the Canadian National Sprint team, with the very realistic potential of competing in upcoming Olympic Games.
